My name is Paul Ahnert and I am the author of the Metal Minister Blog.
Why the name? Well, a few years ago, me, Victor Griffin and Skyler Denny formed a ministry called Metal Mission of Knoxville. We did several outreaches in a local club and I actually got to preach the Word in a most unlikely of settings.
I am currently one of the Pastors with MMOK and The Fringe, our ministry outreach. You can see videos from our outreach events and the Fringe on the Video page.
I am husband, father and grandfather and live in Knoxville TN with my wife and son.
My passion is teaching the Bible and answering Biblical questions.
I started this blog as a hobby, originally titled ahnertthoughts but as people expressed an interest in the things I was writing I began to take blogging more seriously.
Take some time to skim around my various posts, there is a little something for almost everyone. My prayer is, as you read, you will be inspired, uplifted, challenged and moved.
